Mary's Make Over
With the statue of Mary in the school's prayer garden, looking a little worn and battered the children in Year 5 made it there duty to get it repaired and refurbished.
After lots of fund raising in school and in church an amazing £800 was made and the statue was collected by Lewis and Lewis. When she returned to school, we all thought that she looked even better when she was first installed.
We were very fortunate to have the prayer garden blessed by Archbishop Longley, when he came to the school to celebrate the school's 50th Anniversary Mass.
