Music 2023-2024
Year 4 are improving their recorder playing skills
in this performance of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
Year 2's Big Question is What makes a good leader?
They listened to music by Beethoven, Saint-Saens and Steiner to generate a word bank of good leader qualities. Next, they sorted the words into groups of long and short sounds. Finally, they performed the words as a class rap.
Year 3 performed their Chinese New Year pentatonic composition
to an audience of Reception and Nursery children.
Many thanks to Richard Taylor and Áine Molines from the wonderful team at Manchester Camerata who have helped Year 5 to compose a song about
Roald Dahl's The Enormous Crocodile.
